I found myself alone in a field high in the Vosges, far from everything, with nothing but my tools.
The wind brushed through the grass, the sky stretched endlessly above, and I felt something rare and precious: silence, and the purity of simplicity.

It was there that the astronaut appeared in my mind, lost after exploring the vastness of space, realizing that the most beautiful place in the universe was right beneath his feet.
To paint Dreamer was to give shape to this return to simplicity, to capture that moment when one understands that the true treasure lies here, in the present.

As each spray of paint brought the work to life, a storm rolled in.
Within minutes, the rain washed the entire piece away, forcing me to begin again. Yet in starting over, I rediscovered patience, wonder, and an intimate connection with the place, rekindling the magic of that fleeting moment.
